Japanese Musician Akira Sudo Visiting Peace Garden
Upon their arrival in Beijing in August, 2011, famous NBA star Stephon Marbury and his party paid a visit to the Peace Garden and presented a basketball with his signature to the China World Peace Foundation.
On December 4th, famous Japanese Musician Akira Sudo, together with representative Beijing Opera and Kunqu Opera artists, talked about the development history of Chinese Beijing opera and Kunqu Opera and the intriguing part of Japan’s music production. All the participants expressed their hope that they would make contribution to the cultural events marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Sino-Japanese diplomatic relationship in the year 2012.

Mr. Marbury and Mr. Akira Sudo found to their delight that the China World Peace Foundation is capable of providing a platform for programs of Peace and Culture and Peace and Sport to promote international friendship. They also expressed their hope to join hands to accelerate a comprehensive international cooperation as well as to join the international volunteers’ team to work together for the development of the public good. CWPF chairman Li Ruohong, after holding talks respectively with Mr. Marbury and his party and Mr. Akira Sudo and his delegation about the development vision, presented them his book China NGO.
